Certificate of Achievement: Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Are you an Undergraduate student who’s interested in entrepreneurship but is currently pursuing an alternate degree at UMKC? Earning a Certificate of Achievement is a perfect way to increase your knowledge and add to your resume, without completing the requirements to pursue the minor.
A Certificate of Achievement in Entrepreneurship and Innovation can be attained by any University of Missouri – Kansas City undergraduate student, who has an interest in advancing his or her knowledge and experience within the discipline and is seeking a competitive edge in the job market.
- Fulfillment of ENT 215/315 or ENT 460, with a grade of “B” or above
- Completion of an additional ENT elective course, with a grade of “B” or above
- Participation in either the Roo Idea Jump OR the Regnier Venture Creation Challenge Competition

Approval of Certification
The Global Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Faculty Board will formally decide on all certifications twice a year, in January and August. Once, the approval is granted, the Certificate of Achievement will be prepared and distributed to the student by the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
