Entrepreneurship Student Ambassadors help champion and enable entrepreneurship and innovation engagement across campus. This is the Regnier Institute’s premiere campus-wide support organization with representation across all UMKC schools and colleges.
The entrepreneurship student ambassadors group is composed of students from all academic departments and fields. Entrepreneurship student ambassadors wish to enhance their academic experience by being involved in entrepreneurship activities. Ambassadors of the Institute are considered anchor points through which the Institute receives and sends information and knowledge from and to other departments or schools. This allows students to broaden their intellectual experience and horizons.
Students selected as Entrepreneurship Ambassadors are expected to work with Entrepreneurship faculty and staff to promote the entrepreneurial career path and Institute programs to fellow students, the community and prospective high school students.
- Understand what the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is and be able to explain it to all important constituencies.
- Encourage useful connections between students at the Bloch School, the community and high school students.
- Act as hosts for Regnier Institute events.
- Actively recruit potential majors, minors, and event participants.
- Develop and deliver a high school recruiting program.
The term for an Ambassadorship is one academic year.

Ambassadors are expected to follow all aspects of UMKC’s policies and procedures. The Regnier Institute retains the right to terminate ambassadorships without cause at any time.
